Finetune odds hitting earth12/14/2022 ![]() If I stand totally still, it is possible to generate focus the same way I used to in red line, but it is not working on the move. Because of decreasing the focus generation of precision stance and moving deadly precision further into red line, which makes it impossible for me to trait into right now, it has become super difficult to generate focus in blue line. This build has introduced another mobility problem. The ability to use them on the move could be offset by a slightly longer cooldown if needed, but they need to be mobile skills if they're going to be useful in blue line. Except for one huge problem-none of them can be used on the move, which totally defeats their usability in blue line if I'm fighting. The idea of adding "survivability" to blue line would balance out the cooldown on Barrage, since in theory a heal or purge poison could be used while Barrage is on cooldown. The cooldown on Barrage is annoying, I'd rather it just tier back down automatically or do less damage than be out of rotation for 2-15 seconds, but I can live with it if I have to. Right now, if I stay totally stationary, blue line on bullroarer has reasonable DPS. It has not been this painful to play my blue line hunter since she was level 6, before the last hunter update. However, this last build broke blue line for me. The last couple of builds have been interesting and I was enjoying the changes to red line and am looking forward to using it in a group. I've valued the ability to attack on the move, whether while running and deeding or kiting for my life, though it is definitely most valuable to me in fights where I am kiting for my life. My main has been a blue line hunter since I started, and I've never minded red line getting more DPS. But now it's just quickshot spam from a super glass cannon. If you put Precision back to where it was, and made your other changes, then I could see red line becoming more dynamic and interesting. All you've done is move the single button rotation over to the red line from the blue. Hunters will be building around Quickshot and just spamming that over and over. But with your change to Precision in red line, that's exactly what you did to that line. You started out with the hypothesis that the blue line had too simple a rotation, just spamming a single button to achieve high numbers. I can live with these changes (hell I have for 11 years now to this class) but I don't think there's anything here revolutionary or all that interesting, and it's definitely a nerf to the survivabilty of the class.
